CRYSTAL CUP of Ukraine 2010
On 12th December, 2010, two our dogs took part in the Biggest International Pure-bred Dog Show of Ukraine in Kiev, - "Crystal Cup of Ukraine 2010" combined with an exhibition of champions "Champion of the Champions 2010" - ARWENA - in the junior class, and ARAGORN in Champion Class. The winner of the breed was Weimaranus JEWEL IN THE CROWN - our ARWENA (ex, JCAC, BOB, BOG II) while ARAGORN Grey Passion became THE BEST MALE IN THE BREED - (ex, CAC, CACIB). We were for the first time in Ukraine... but the organisers of the exhibition surprised us very nicely... The exhibition was prepared with the huge swing, with the Internet TV broadcasting ON-LINE, with the wonderful atmosphere and interesting performances. At present, we regret a little that we did not go to Kiev the first day and we chose the Exhibition in Legionowo, where we had to complete the formalities at the reception of THE JUNIOR VICTORY and THE BEST JUNIOR OF THE BREED on the way towards the final of the Polish Junior Champion for our bitch ARWENA.
Our pointers came back as TWO CONSECUTIVE CHAMPIONS - the Junior Champion of Ukraine for Arwena and the Champion of Ukraine for Aragorn.
While leaving Legionowo behind Warsaw, we had 870km ahead to Kiev in one direction ... after having driven over 200km ... a total of approximately 1900km only in two days without any overnight stay!!! on the Ukrainian roads ...!!! and with the return twenty-four hour queue at "TAMOŻNI" in DOROHUSK - fortunately, we did not stay in it ...:-). The exhibition began at 10:00 a.m. (Weimar pointers), we arrived at 9.05 am. ... one hour was taken by the time difference between our countries ...
