Dear visitors...
Our names are Małgorzata & Adam Pietruczuk. We are from Podlasie and we would like to welcome all the visitors on the website of the Weimaraner Kennel - "Carski Trakt".
Why "Carski Trakt"? Why such an untypical name of a kennel in Poland? ... These and other questions are asked by visitors and our friends ... so we want to give an answer:
"Carski Trakt" ... means ... - " a road", actually - "two roads" ... two roads, which have been preserved in their entirety from the time of the Partitions of Poland and run through the most beautiful nooks of Podlasie ... Białowieża Forest and Biebrza Bogs ...
# The first road leads from our home town Bielsko Podlaskie, through "Drewniane Podlasie" and Białowieza forest to its heart - "Park Pałacowy"...
# The second one leads form Goniądz along the Biebrza river through Czerwone Bagno (the only year-long road through the Biebrza National Park), Strękowa Mount near to Wizna (Polish Thermopylae), Sulin to the route from Bialystok to Warsaw ...
... Tsarist trade routes, which are in vestigial form also preserved in other regions of Podlasie, were always were characterized by simplicity (very long, straight, paved sections), were of the very good quality for those times and always led through beautiful, interesting and important regions. It is also the Mission of our Kennel ... the beauty, the simplicity and the longevity ...
and if someone hears the word "Podlasie" in our country ... a smile always appears on his face ... We invite you to visit the Photo Gallery - "Postcards from Podlasie" ...
We are greeting everyone very warmly
Gosia & Adam
